Based on our historical data we have no evidence of E.Coli 0157:H7 contamination in Little Leaf Farms products or our water source to date. We take multiple steps to ensure our products are fresh and clean from the start. Our water for growing is collected from our facility roof and goes through sterilization and filtration before it ever enters our greenhouse. This allows our hydroponic system to use less water than traditional farming and our lettuce leaves never become wet. Additionally, we have a rigorous environmental monitoring program that actively looks for various E.coli species and other indicators in both our water and finished products.
